The Role:

Joining us as a Senior/Lead Derivatives Analyst, you will have a has a solid understanding of the enterprise arena and work on multiple, highly complex projects. As a result, we are looking for someone who is self-reliant, resourceful and possess initiative and drive. You will also;

  • Work within an Agile Team in implementing transformation in the Derivatives arena at M&G Prudential.
  • Be part of a team delivering new instruments and markets, reviewing vendors, analysing current operating models and working across multiple departments to implement efficiencies and growth, whilst reducing risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage tasks associated with launching new instruments across M&G Prudential's diverse fund ranges
  • Review current operating model and design target operating model(s)
  • Contribute to the implementation of funds into clearing and transition to execution on various venues
  • Engage/Manage a RFP process across multiple vendors
  • Engage, interact, and coordinate with other workstreams within the Investment Change, Regulatory, and Product Portfolios
  • Create and maintain required project documentation and considered escalation of items in a timely manner to the Scrum Master, Product Owner, and stakeholders
  • Communicate the approach, recommendation and plan for delivery (written and oral)

You will have:

  • Experience of working in OTC and ETD derivative related projects/scrums
  • Knowledge of the complexities of launching new instruments into funds
  • Knowledge of trading venues, clearing, margin/collateral, and regulation, relating to derivatives
  • Good experience of designing and articulating target operating models
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in the Investment Management industry, and 5 in market related firm(s)
  • A working knowledge of the Aladdin platform is preferable, but not essential
  • Experience of outsourced operational models is also preferable, but not essential
