Columbia Threadneedle’s Global Equities team is looking to recruit a Senior Analyst. The focus of the role initially is to boost our analyst resource, although for the right candidate there may, in time, be the opportunity to run portfolios. The candidate should be able to demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a large team environment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Columbia Threadneedle’s Global Equities team is looking to recruit a Senior Analyst. The candidate should be able to demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a large team environment. 

 
•           To maintain stock coverage across the Global Equities universe.  This will involve chairing company meetings, writing stock / sector review notes and providing investment recommendations to the team.
•           To engage and debate stock ideas in a constructive manner.
•           To manage relationships with internal clients (sales team, institutional team, etc).
•           Good communication skills are a prerequisite for both internal investment meetings and external marketing.
•           In time, there may be the opportunity to run portfolios.
 

•           Previous equity analyst experience
•           Previous asset management or investment banking or accountancy background
•           Advanced excel skills
•           Strong modeling and analytical skills
•           The successful candidate would preferably be CFA qualified 
•           Self-starter
•           Strong communication skills, both written and oral
•           Team player
