The Role:

The Analyst / Associate will participate in all stages of the deal and investment process. They will develop models, perform complex analyses, and work on due diligence of potential investment opportunities.  They will also be involved in management of portfolio companies, both at the strategic and operational aspects of the business.

The responsibilities of this role will include the following:

  • Test and review opportunities following the investment criteria
  • Develop deal presentations, and responsible for valuation activities and detailed financial models
  • Create and analyse financial models, performing sensitivity analysis to examine the various impacts on valuation
  • Use complex financial models to project future earning and profit potential and uses this data to inform decisions and proposals
  • Meet with investment team to stay up-to-date about market situations and company decisions that may impact one another
  • Allocate resources for appropriate research, analysis and development, including meeting management teams 
  • Assist in the due diligence and transaction execution for investments and participate in investment due diligence and analysis
  • Assist in management of portfolio companies in various business development capacities and financial analysis, including preparation of company descriptions and reports
  • Assist in evaluating strategic options and exit scenarios

Skills we’re looking for:

  • Experience working within M&A advisory, Private Equity or Venture Capital – prior experience of private equity or venture capital
  • Excellent academic record
  • Strong demonstrable financial and modelling skills
  • Entrepreneurial and ambitious individual that is a team player with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • English as main language/strong verbal and written fluency
