The Senior Associate will work to assist in creating and supporting an infrastructure within Financial Adviser Services (FAS) which enables the EMEA sales teams’ productivity.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The position will work to assist in creating and supporting an infrastructure within Financial Adviser Services (FAS) which enables the EMEA sales teams’ productivity.  Reporting to the Head of Operations for Financial Adviser Services, EMEA the Senior Associate will provide, assistance and support across the following areas:

Production of Business Intelligence:

  • Produce and develop EMEA business intelligence reporting in collaboration with US FAS Operations team, including EMEA Business Overview, Asset Reports and Client Service reporting 
  • Fulfil ad-hoc business intelligence and data requests from sales team
  • Support the Head of FAS EMEA with the production of Board of Directors reports and other senior management business reporting
  • Handle asset and cash flow reporting across a complex, multi-layered European distribution network including data from various external sources
  • Design and build dashboards using data visualisation tools (PowerBI)

Participation in Technology Initiatives:

  • Creatively collaborate with global technology teams to ensure effective implementation of new technology initiatives to meet local business needs
  • Work closely with FAS EMEA team and be proactively involved in developing technology tools to meet business needs in EMEA and globally
  • Responsible for engaging with teams in London, Berlin and Amsterdam to identify and understand local business goals and challenges, and develop processes using the CRM to increase its practicality and drive user engagement
  • Collaborate with FAS EMEA sales team on technology matters and escalate to Technology Department, US FAS Operations team, and/or Head of Operations FAS, EMEA as appropriate

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Interact regularly with US-based FAS operations team to ensure global consistency of business processes and coordination of global FAS initiatives
  • Develop and foster close, cooperative relationships with FAS EMEA sales team, peers in global offices and other Dimensional departments that support FAS EMEA sales team
  • Ability to operate and prioritize work in a fast-paced & demanding multi-jurisdictional environment and deal with complex situations


  • Bachelor’s degree or similar education in a quantitative subject required
  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience required
  • Advanced Excel skills (including knowledge of VBA)
  • Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, Qlikview)
  • CRM experience (especially Microsoft Dynamics) a strong plus
  • Understanding of European fund distribution networks a plus
  • Desired languages; English fluent, German (fluent in speaking and writing) and other European languages would be an advantage
