The general role of Fund Operation Management is to assist the Fund Management to implement the fund strategy and being responsible for the fund operations. The role of Senior Associate within the team will be the primary point of contact for all fund/mandate operational matters, liaison with internal and external stakeholders as required and will work closely with Asset Managers, Transaction Managers, Account Management, Fund Accounting, Structure Finance and external parties.

Job Purpose (Job Summary): The general role of Fund Operation Management is to assist the Fund Management to implement the fund strategy and being responsible for the fund operations.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Be the primary point of contact for all fund/mandate operational matters, liaison with internal and external stakeholders (FM, Debt Finance, Accounting, Cosec, AM, Legal, Structured Finance, Treasury and Research etc) as required.
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining the Fund’s database (driving forward improvements where applicable)
  • Close contact with Asset Managers, Transaction Managers, Account Management, Fund Accounting, Structured Finance and external parties (e.g. valuers) to collect all necessary information.
  • Provide information to Fund Analysts and support analysis run for the fund/mandate in cooperation with Fund Analysts / Fund Manager.
  • Assist the Fund Management Team and Transaction Team with the acquisition and disposition of real estate properties, in particular preparation of specific reports to clients in respect of acquisitions and dispositions and ensure cash calls / distributions are correctly calculated and effected.
  • Oversee and provide fund/mandate level information within due diligence processes (support with KYC, SPV set up and onboarding 3rd party service providers).
  • Maintain Gantt charts or equivalent and organizing reporting processes
  • Responsible for all fund/client/regulatory reports (any monthly, quarterly and annual reports) as well as supporting with ad-hoc requests, RfPs etc. from existing clients and potential clients
  • Coordinate with the Luxembourg / Jersey team on all fund and individual property reporting to Banks, dealing with specific bank requests for information.
  • Coordinate with the Luxembourg / Jersey team on the management of cash, including equity draw-downs, distributions, cash repatriation and liquidity investment with input from Fund Accounting and Structured Finance, to support Fund Management.
  • Support Fund Management / Asset Management in preparation of fund & asset business plans and Fund Strategy Reviews.

Work Experience / Knowledge: 3 years + professional experience, ideally in Real Estate funds

Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills including ability to explain and articulate investment performance and strategy, by using appropriate arguments.
  • Very good MS office skills, Argus and Yardi experience are desirable but not essential)
  • Effective team worker including remotely across international offices
  • Fluent in English, other European languages highly desirable.

Formal Education: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)

  • Graduate with, ideally, an undergraduate or post graduate property, finance, accounting or project management qualification
