Senior Client Reporting Analyst

Another focus for the role will be to develop an organisational structure and to employ appropriately trained and qualified individuals. It will develop business processes which make appropriate use of technology. Alongside this, measuring effectiveness and efficiency of functions is a key responsibility, as well as identifying and mitigating risks.

The role will ensure appropriate disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place, along with ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements associated with all activities.

You will be responsible for the following tasks:

* Production of investment reports.
* Daily monitoring of data quality.
* Responding to client queries.
* Managing client take on / offs & administrating client cash inflows / outflows.
* Fee invoicing.
* Provision of Funds Under Management data to Finance.
* Investigation and implementation of new funds/instruments.
* Handling Audit queries.
* Client Relationship management.
* Continually monitor and improve, where necessary, the processes, controls and procedures associated with the function.
* Implement processes, controls and procedures as a result of Regulatory, Organisational and Strategic changes impacting the function.
* Staff management, objective setting and performance measurement.
* Training & development.
* Identify client money and the risk of it arising and manage this (e.g. ensuring investment losses / client compensations are received by the fund / client within 24 hours of any amounts and calculations being authorised).
* Contribute to the CASS 8 Log (List of Mandates) and the regulatory requirement to keep it up to date i.e. an up to date list of all mandates and any conditions imposed by that mandate (e.g. borrowing restrictions).
* Investigate and log CASS 8 overdraft breaches.

What we are looking for:

In terms of the industry you will have experience of Investment markets, instruments & products, and data suppliers. It is essential that you are knowledgeable of transaction processing, corporate actions, dividends, reconciliations, pricing and reporting. You will also have Client relationship management.

You will be knowledgeable of Prudential/M&G's group structure, clients, products and the regulations under which they operate. You will have key client contacts & interaction

It is required for you to have overall knowledge of investments within Group Funds and how they are reported. As well as this, you will also have broad CASS and Client Money Rules knowledge

In terms of IT knowledge, you will have a broad understanding of Investment Operations system infrastructure. You will also have detailed knowledge of relevant applications and ability to utilise effectively. You will be proficient with Excel, Access & Word.

You will be capable of staff management, communication, recruitment, objective setting, performance reviews, training, development, control and risk management.
