Senior Consultant or Manager to join our Advisory & Management Consultancy UK Division. You will be involved in a range of assignments from Strategy, creation of TOM's, Process Improvement, Project and Change Management and BAU support teams. Overview of role

Working for our clients, involvement in a range of consultancy assignments and other activities which may include:



  • Using strategy formation approaches to facilitate the definition of business strategies through working with relevant business stakeholders.
  • Research initiated to address gaps in knowledge relating to a specific business issue

Operating Models:

  • The creation of Target Operating Models (TOMs) for discrete business domains and functions


Project Management and Business Analysis

  • Actively managing the delivery of change programmes and portfolios (according to seniority and experience)
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of the client's strategic direction, issues and project goals
  • Driving consistency in operations, measuring progress against goals, preparing or facilitating client meetings and workshops, creating business updates / reviews, conducting quarterly and annual planning
  • Developing and helping evaluate procedures, controls, user requirements, and functional specifications
  • Assisting in documenting, evaluating and translating business architectures and needs into technology options and technical architectures
  • Conduct market / client / industry data gathering research and analysis
  • Creating high quality presentations / reports to effectively communicate project findings


Responsibilities of the role

The role will involve:

  • Delivery of consulting assignments, under the supervision of a more senior member of the team
  • Build positive relationships with some senior stakeholders within the organisation
  • Operating as a positive role model for the rest of the consultancy team through their attitude and contribution to the team
  • Contributing to service proposition design, business development work and thought leadership
  • Challenging conventional wisdom and freely expressing their own opinion


The Manager role also involves:

  • Leading some consultancy assignments following established best practice
  • Undertaking line management for other member of the business consultancy team
  • Managing RFPs, presentations & proposals to clients
  • Develop knowledge management of the firm
  • Find new prospects, transform them into clients and develop client portfolio
  • Manage people and their career


Overview of the skills required

  • Self starter with ability to prioritise and manage own activities in the best interests of the organisation
  • Recognized expertise in the financial sector and knowledge of the banking sector
  • Collaborative team player who will want to succeed as part of a high performing team
  • Understanding of consultancy skills and best practice, gained through experience of working in, or interacting closely with, a consultancy environment, including;
  • Experience of using, developing and adapting key tools, techniques and types of work a consultancy would undertake
  • Deep and demonstrable experience of Project Management/Business analysis within highly complex, matrixed environments
  • Demonstrable experience of working on and running large scale, critical business change projects and programmes and/ or broad experience in delivering corporate change programmes
  • Cross border / multi geography project delivery experience
  • Experience of stakeholder management
  • An understanding of change management disciplines, processes and tools, including:

o planning and progress tracking mechanisms

o effective means of monitoring and managing issues, risks and dependencies

o strong reporting skills



Qualifications Required

  • A first degree and or a Master Degree in Business/  Finance or related discipline



Salary : £50,000-£75,000 depending on experience
