We are working with a prestigious investments house to hire a senior risk manager in to their Prudential Risk team. The team is looking to build better risk insights through data analytics and forging strong relationships with business partners. Particularly strong ICAAP and Reporting experience is required.

Risk Monitoring and Reporting

  • Lead the internal capital adequacy process (ICAAP), working with local management, Finance and outside advisors in each country.  Responsible for presenting the results to the Oversight Steering Committee and ensuring that documentation is regularly updated and presented to the appropriate board.
  • Lead the production of the ICAAP and models and data analysis underpinning the risk sections ICAAP.
  • Lead the liquidity risk assessment across the Europe, support the business and the Finance team in documenting the liquidity risks and arranging appropriate mitigants across an expanding business.
  • Co-ordination of the European Risk Committee – developing and liaising with the business on style, format and agenda.
  • Responsible for supporting the end-to-end risk reporting activity across the Risk team covering management reporting, committees, Boards and input to regulatory reports.
  • Proactively identifies, investigates and recommends improvements to allow for improved risk reporting.
  • Lead and develop new MI to drive better decision making for the business.


Risk Measurement and Management

  • Revise and further develop with risk colleagues in Europe and Senior Management and the firm's risk appetite framework and appropriate monitoring (KRIs), analysis and reporting to support this framework.
  • Meet regularly with nominated business areas to discuss adherence to the risk framework and current and emerging risk issues

  • Develops and cultivates relationships with enterprise and divisional clients to understand their ongoing risk needs. Builds credibility as a thought partner. 
  • Collaborates with the Enterprise Risk Management teams to inform and escalate risk issues and events and to stay current with the enterprise risk management frameworks. 




  • Undergraduate degree required. Graduate degree and/or Professional Certification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CISI, MBA) preferred 
  • Able to provide valuable second-line risk input and challenge. A high degree of professionalism required.
  • In depth experience of writing reports for senior stakeholders and Boards with minimal intervention.
  • Proven experience with managing, analysing and interpreting large quantities of data and creating data solutions
