Our London Office they are looking for an individual to join the GBAM Financial Planning & Analysis team, within the EMEA Legal Entity Financial Planning group. This group is responsible for ensuring the integrity of legal entity forecasts which are consumed in the capital planning and regulatory resolution outputs and presenting those to Board level stakeholders and external regulatory bodies in Europe.

In addition, the team are also responsible for delivering the annual Solvent Wind Down plan for MLI, and work very closely with the teams who deliver the bank wide Recovery & Resolution Plan and entity specific ICAAP's.

The role will provide exposure to the full range of forecasting and resolution requirements for a business in a legal entity. It will provide the opportunity to form working relationships with key partners in Risk, Finance and the business lines, whilst calibrating the forecast to the requirement of regulators or projected scenarios as required.

As a Senior Finance Analyst - Planning and Analysis your duties will include:

  • Represent the Legal Entity Financial Planning group in global cross functional forums on forecasting, stress testing and resolution
  • Prepare briefing material for senior stakeholders to facilitate effective decision making or presentation to external bodies
  • Coordinate legal entity forecasting quarterly process
  • Help implement new technological solutions to deliver the financial forecasts
  • Evidencing the review and challenge process to provide a solid audit trail
  • Delivering the annual Solvent Wind Down Plan for MLI to the PRA
