The Responsibilities of the Senior IT Auditor:

* Organise and carry out the activities that are related to the job (planning / setting up audits, obtaining the necessary and relevant information from the client, establishing and processing collected information, reporting.

*Determine within the framework of the agreements how and when the audit will be carried out. The jobholder makes decisions regarding the planning and the approach

* Communicate to the Departmental Head regarding the progress / realisation of audits, major findings, and the results of the evaluations of audits and downgrading of Audit, Regulatory and External Audit points - where relevant.

* Evaluate / assess conducted audits based, amongst others, on the plans of approach and (draft) reports according to professional aspects such as scope, approach, interpretation and weighing of audit findings, formulating a conclusion and making recommendations

* Support the Senior IT Audit Manager with IT coverage related tasks

* General support the Senior IT Audit Manager with IT coverage related tasks.

Personal qualifications

  • CISA Qualified professional with 2 years practical experience

  • Strong professional experience in financial services is required.

  • A curious and personable approach.

  • A strong commitment to professional development.
