The Index Structuring IT team is focused on building and implementing the strategic platform for Algorithmic Indices to replace current suite of legacy and end-user-compute solutions.
The role is for a senior developer with proven track record of delivery within front office derivatives area. The Index Structuring IT team is focused on building and implementing the strategic platform for Algorithmic Indices to replace current suite of legacy and end-user-compute solutions. This is a hands-on role and the suitable candidate will have experience of the full software development life-cycle including agile methodologies other aspects of successful product delivery. Business knowledge acquired thorough working within the exotic / structured / algorithmic indices area is highly desirable. Current team of 15 is split across London and Mumbai.
Candidate will have excellent technical, organisational and communications skills and motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment. Candidate will be working closely with quants, front office and operations to implement both tactical and strategic solutions.
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required
- Java, Spring, Spring Boot, REST
- MSSQL (or similar RDBMS)
- Agile methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Flair for system design and architecture
Desirable technical skills:
- Python, Hybernate, React
- Product delivery experience gained in front-office environment
- Algorithmic indices and/or cross-asset derivatives / structured products
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
