Senior Manager Change Management & Delivery


Lead the design of strategic Target Servicing Model under the Business Architecture in HSS, principally supporting Transfer Agency build out and then other products of HSS : Fund Services, Middle Office, Treasury, Global Custody, and Direct Custody.

Function supports include:

  • Design Target Servicing Model (TSM) for new product, client, and system, including the end-to-end client/system interfaces, required enhancements, servicing level and the cost/resource requirements.
  • Work closely with clients and internal Product/Sales/Client Mgm/Operation heads to present the benefits of the model and ensure client's requirements are effectively served with minimal cost and system developments.
  • Ensure the compliance, risk and technical aspects are analysed and addressed in the TSM with close interaction with Platform Change/IT/SD/Legal/Compliance.
  • Provide consultancy advice to Project Manager and clients on TSM implementation
  • Role holder will be expected to lead a team of Product/Operations SME's responsible for defining recommendations to business heads, product managers or projects for which they are assigned.

Key responsibilities will be:

  • Management and ownership of assigned Target Servicing Model design related to strategic new product/market, client and system in Asia or global initiatives, including the end-to-end client/system interfaces, required enhancements, servicing level and the cost/resource requirements.
  • Represent Design Authority on key and strategic business projects relating to Asia/Europe Target Servicing model, bespoke service propositions or product launches.
  • Liaison and management of the relationship with clients and senior stakeholders in global jurisdictions to present and agree the strategic model.
  • Provide consultancy advice to Project Director/Managers and clients on implementation and any model related directions.
  • Assist in sales process to present the Servicing Model and system architecture to clients through contacting and liaising with product, sales, business heads, market contacts and operating executives.
  • Assist with Business Case preparation to define the model / required enhancements to support new product launches / sales prospects.
  • Consultancy to project managers / team members from Product / Sales / Client Services / Operations / Change Mgmt / IT / Legal / Compliance / Risk Management where required. Monitoring of team dynamics and individual differences to ensure team goal is achieved.

Major Challenges

The role requires detailed knowledge of Transfer Agency and outstanding analysis and influencing skills to get the buy-in from management.

He/She has to identify clients/market opportunities in the competitive environment and effect change which will have great impact to the business results/costs while managing the senior manager's expectation, client's services/perception, and maintain/improve team morale along all the strategic changes.
