Our client, a global leading financial services firm are looking for a Pensions Programme Manager to join them on an 18 month fixed-term contract. This role will be based in London with a UK-wide remit. The role will report into the Trustee Chief Operating Officer.
The Senior Pensions Programme Manager will have overall responsibility for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of at least three major strategic projects for our client's Pension Scheme. The Scheme has assets of approximately £33 billion and has approximately 200,000 members.
In this role, you will:
Set the standards for excellent project management within the Scheme.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
Have extensive project and programme management experience for large, complex pensions projects.
Have knowledge and experience gained in a similar pensions role in the following areas:
- pension legislation and the regulatory framework governing UK pension schemes
- GMP equalisation and rectification
- management of pension scheme administration transition and transformation
- pensions operational change and risk management.
Operational management expertise, coupled with substantial pensions experience at a management level.
Ability to establish credibility, develop and sustain relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
A Project Management qualification would be an advantage.
