About the role: Responsible for all aspects of assigned non-technical projects. Projects may be focused on all business areas : legal, compliance, marketing, sales, finance/accounting, business planning, business operations, customer service, or other non-technical subjects. Typically involves extensive interactions with cross-functional teams of various functional areas of the business.
Transformation, root cause analysis, issue management, audit remediations and improvement initiatives; agile implementation, facilitation, integration and delivery
Collaboration, change, stakeholder management and influencing, managing difficult situations.
What you will be doing: - Coordinates, facilitates and integrates work across multiple projects and workstreams in parallel to support strategic expansion and external partners onboarding
- Facilitates E2E project lifecycle execution and delivery with the business owners
- Removes blockers and supports business case creation for top management decision making
- Applies continuous improvement techniques to challenge status quo, ways of working to reach to a faster, more efficient, streamlined & client centric operating model
- Monitors and improves program tracking, KPI mechanism and reporting
- Works with audit and independent testing teams to support remediation and examination initiatives
- Identifies gaps in integration and facilitates collaboration and problem resolution
- Connects with enterprise portfolio for program initiatives prioritization & alignment
- Guides & coaches the existing team through improving project management skills and experience
- Identifies improvement opportunities and drives them or positions them with the corresponding stream for resolution and delivery
- Escalates risks and issues in due time with manager and business areas for alignment & resolution
What you will bring: - Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines
- Knowledge of the industry project management best practices, i.e., Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and the FIS Enterprise Project Management Methodology (EPMM)
- Knowledge of various types of IT project methodologies and life cycles, e.g., conversions, incremental, rapid delivery, classic or traditional waterfall phases of analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and the correct project application
- Knowledge of standards relevant to the software industry , e.g., ISO, CMM, Six Sigma
- Knowledge of financial services industry
- Recognized within the enterprise for quality client interaction and successful project completion within the defined scope, quality, time and cost constraints
- Experience with both large solution implementations at external client organizations and solution development projects
