I am currently hiring for a three year old systematic fund in London who have already acheived significant postitive years two years running and hold an AUM north of $1bn. They are looking to add a Senior Python developer with strong knowledge of Pandas and numpy to their existing development team of three. The role will be working across all aspects of software development.

Senior Python Developer - London - Hedge Fund

I am currently hiring for a three year old systematic fund in London who have already acheived significant postitive years two years running and hold an AUM north of $1bn.

They are looking to add a Senior Python developer with strong knowledge of Pandas and numpy to their existing development team of three. The role will be working across all aspects of software development. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • 7+ years commercial experience, ideally in another systematic fund.
  • Understanding of at least one of the following markets in depth: futures, options, rates, equities and commods.
  • Experience with dealing with research time series data in these markets from multiple sources.
  • Complex database design working with these time series; ideally Postgres.
  • Numerate degree from a tier one university; Physics, Maths, CompSci, etc.
  • Experience of working on purely automated systems or having to validate your own work.
  • Test driven development work pattern.
  • Worked with continuous build environments.
  • At least 5 years:
    • Python; pandas and numpy
    • C++, Java or C#
    • Linux: confident in data analysis and process management on the command line.
    • SQL

This role can pay a total comp in the region of £200k.
