The Quality Assurance Analyst will join a London based QA team, itself forming part of the CME QA group verifying a Fixed-Income real-time electronic trading platform. As such the role entails QA responsibility for a variety of regional and global projects throughout the SDLC. Principal responsibilities will be:
    Requirements analysis
    Test specification, test script creation and maintenance 
    Test planning and strategy
    Automated and Manual execution of test scripts, status reporting and documentation of results
    Raising test issues via defect tracking system and managing to resolution
    Attending project meetings to report status and to take follow up actions needed
    UAT coordination

    A very solid understanding of traditional and agile methodologies, their application and best practice
    Strong organisational skills and excellent analytical and decision-making abilities
    Service driven, adaptable, resilient and capable of working to deadlines
    Excellent attention to detail
    A readiness to embrace ownership of tasks and responsibility for delivering high quality results
    Ability to quickly understand and apply unfamiliar technical and business concepts 
    Ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively to support multiple concurrent projects
    Excellent written and oral communication skills; concise and confident
    Strong initiative and the flexibility to work individually or as part of a team
Professional/Technical Skills
    Proven exposure to fixed income markets and an excellent understanding of associated products
    Experienced in using Jira for requirements management and defect tracking
    Familiarity with HP Quality Centre software preferable
    Ability to identify and realise opportunities for improving the efficiency of existing processes
Qualifications and experience
    Considerable experience with multi-tiered complex fixed-income trading systems
    Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    Ability to work/interface with multiple Lines of Business and geographies
    B.Sc. Computer Science or technical certification and/or experience
    Proven experience of testing over the full SDLC on complex client-server systems
    Track record of delivering high quality detailed work in security sensitive systems
    Experience testing applications that utilise a central limit orderbook
