Our client, a data management provider to the Asset Management industry, is recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager to lead the sales efforts for its services with the key focus on consultatively engaging with existing buyside and prospect target markets in Germany.
This broad and exciting opportunity will be a part of the EMEA sales team based in London, supporting and building the German client base. There will be a focus on developing existing client relationships in addition to winning business with new targeted prospects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a very highly respected firm with a global reach and significant plans for growth.
Candidates must have a good knowledge of the German asset management industry, be fluent German speakers, with an excellent understanding of the financial markets and ideally market data and financial regulation. It would also be highly desirable if interested applicants have extensive experience of selling technology solutions, data or services into the asset management industry. This role is based in London but will involve regular travel to Germany to meet with clients.
