Senior Social Media Specialist

Work with the VP of Content & Engagement to ensure eFinancialCareers, a DHI brand, becomes the default destination for its EMEA target audiences to source career related information, insights and opportunities.

You should be fascinated by all things digital, enjoy learning about technology, have an understanding of / interest in modern web development and have a good grasp of the digital marketing landscape – websites, email, SEO/PPC, analytics, programmatic etc.

Essential Duties

  • Work closely with the VP Content & Engagement to create the eFinancialCareers engagement strategy
  • Localize and execute the global engagement strategy for eFC within the region
  • Collaborate closely with the Content teams and create amplification campaigns (paid & unpaid) to ensure eFC content reaches the greatest relevant audience possible
  • Grow and manage eFC communities on all relevant social media networks
  • Identify and build long-term relationships with relevant influencers and key opinion leaders (KOL’s)
  • Work closely with the Brand SEO Managers to design and execute campaigns to improve brand awareness, engagement and inbound links
  • Work with marketing in developing and optimizing engagement email campaigns
  • Support the roll out of native and social advertising solutions across all brands by designing and managing innovative engagement campaigns for clients
  • Analyse data trends, implement best practice and test new techniques to drive increased engagement
  • Report & present critical engagement data, trends and KPI’s t Senior Management and other teams
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales and CS to support activities from a social and engagement perspective

Other Responsibilities

  • Respond to cross-departmental social promotion needs

Job Qualifications

  • Required Knowledge, Skills and Attributes
  • Social media responsibility as evidenced by personal social footprint online or those managed at work
  • Excellent knowledge of all major social channels (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Google+, LinkedIn, Pinterest)
  • Strong writing and communication skills with a proven ability to effectively, accurately and succinctly deliver engaging images and messages
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines, while effectively managing multiple projects with creativity and flexibility
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Customer service savvy and a demonstrated sense of online etiquette
  • Interest in emerging social media platforms and experience plotting content strategy
  • Advanced MS Office proficiency, and basic Adobe Creative Suite and HTML proficiency
  • Fluency in French or German is not required but would be considered an advantage

Required Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related field
  • Experience managing social media pages with success in fostering engagement
  • Experience in implementing social media, digital & integrated marketing campaigns
  • Experience delivering engaging editorial content for diverse audiences
  • Experience managing communities and/or online customer service experience
  • Experience of working with and extracting actionable data from one or more of the following: Google Analytics, Omniture, Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, Google Webmaster tools or Hootsuite
