My client, a Leading Global Hedge Fund, is looking to hire a senior, hands on Java Developer to play a key role in its wider technology team which is responsible for all post trade activity.
The successful candidate is likely to be a hand on Java Developer ideally with some exposure to C# with strong coding ability and excellent problem-solving skills. They will be knowledgeable in support applications and have a good understanding of, and proven experience working with trading data.
Desired skill set includes but is not limited to:
- Proven FS experience in a technology environment
- Strong coding skills in Java (preferably with some C#)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Deep understand of databases and data processing
- Proven CI/CD experience, agile development
- Docker container and Kubernetes would be highly desirable
- Very strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
