Duties and Responsibilities - "Your Role"

Agrow is a global brand known for its insight and excellence in reporting and analysis. The role will involve daily research into topical developments in business, product-related, regulatory and legal areas likely to influence the industry, writing articles that provide our clients with context and insight and ensuring that the visual presentation of the Agrow website is of a high quality by creating rich media form content (graphics, charts, dashboards, data tools, etc) to illustrate key market developments.

You will interact closely with colleagues in the wider Crop Protection & Seed Group working across our insights, market data and analysis and consulting teams to create authoritative, original content which informs and supports our readers in their business planning activities. Agrow reporters become experts in the areas they cover and develop extensive contacts and networks in the industry to enhance their reputation and insights.

You will travel internationally to attend meetings and conferences with the aim of developing contacts, developing your understanding of market dynamics, and building your industry profile.

Job Requirements - "About You"
  • You have a degree in Journalism, English, Finance, Sciences, Economics or other relevant subject with enthusiasm, motivation and a real interest in learning new publishing and business skills
  • Previous experience (1-5 years) in a journalist role is desirable
  • Excellent written as well as verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with complex or technical information, and writing about it in a structured, interesting way
  • Highly focused on quality of your work with great attention to detail
  • Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Good networking skills and the ability to maintain a wide network of contacts
  • Collaborative and team oriented
