My client is a start-up in the FinTech space, with ambitions to grow rapidly in London and New York. They have already developed a strong reputation in the FX industry for their innovative post-trade platform, harnessing blockchain-inspired technology. They currently have several new clients and require individuals to join their support desk team in London (both junior and senior). Initially the role has a heavy focused on providing support, but it could develop into a pre-sales technical or product role. You will be working very closely with senior individuals including the founders, product development and sales.

As the Support Desk Specialist or Senior/Team Leader Desk specialist, you will be required to constantly monitor and provide support for the product. You will be the first point of contact via phone/email and will be in charge of incident reporting and acting as the escalation point for any issues; you will be expected to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders. 

The ideal candidate will have some or all of the following skills and experience:

  • Opportunity to own and develop a team within a new and exciting company
  • Ensuring that SLA's are met
  • Service Desk Management
  • Application Support
  • Experience liasing with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assisting clients during onboarding process
  • Knowledge of FX post trade processing
  • Knowledge of the FIX protocol
  • Experience using UNIX
  • Experience of KX dashboard
