London Based Hedge fund seek a Systems Analyst / Application Support Analyst Unix, SQL + coding (ideally python but any language considered), the team is responsible for supporting the day to day management of the firms trading system, quantitative models and data management across various research areas. This involves validating inputs to their models as well as the output from the quantitative signals.

London Based Hedge fund seek a Systems Analyst / Application Support Analyst Unix, SQL + coding (ideally python but any language considered), the team is responsible for supporting the day to day management of the firms trading system, quantitative models and data management across various research areas. This involves validating inputs to their models as well as the output from the quantitative signals. You will be responsible for monitoring the health of the production trading system, implementation of new business and the delivery of comprehensive and cleansed data spanning across all asset classes and various data sources. Additionally, the role will involve working closely with the portfolio managers, technology and external counterparts to ensure the smooth running of the end to end trading process. As part of the team the role will include coverage for support to other research sectors for the testing and implementation of research changes into the portfolio. Essential for this role is strong academic record and higher education degree with high mathematical and computing content e.g. computer science, mathematics, physics, statistics or another discipline involving technical and quantitative analysis techniques. Demonstrate evidence of strong organisational skills and experience of managing complex relationships involving multiple products and stakeholders. Experience working with creating technical solutions for operation and data related tasks/processes. Programming skills in SQL and an object oriented language, preferably python. Advantageous: Experience of data analysis techniques along with relevant libraries e.g. NumPy/SciPy/Pandas
