As the Technical Writer, you will be responsible for the quality, discoverability and accuracy of the content, for both internal and external communities. You will obtain technical content from subject matter experts while translating it into clear, concise, structured documentation. Sometimes you are documenting something yourself, sometimes you are editing contributed content from someone else, and other times you are fixing and reorganizing existing documentation.

Summary

As the Technical Writer in Support Operations, you will be responsible for the quality, discoverability and accuracy of the content, for both internal and external communities. You will obtain necessary technical content from subject matter experts while translating it into clear, concise, structured documentation. This means sometimes you are documenting something yourself, sometimes you are editing contributed content from someone else, and other times you are fixing and reorganizing existing documentation. In addition, you may also have opportunities to do some project management for various documentation requests.

What you'll do:

  • Create and maintain internal documentation for product user instructions and team presentations.
  • Design, write and edit technical and process documentation.
  • Work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the quality, discoverability and accuracy of the content you create and develop.
  • Navigate through multiple platforms such as internal knowledge base platform.
  • Create the communication plan and drive its implementation.

What you have:

  • BA/BS degree in documentation writing or equivalent experience.
  • Experience taking complex information and simplifying it for more general audiences.
  • Experience producing and organizing content with a logical flow.
  • Experience adjusting to changes in priorities or scope of projects.
  • Experience managing multiple deadlines and delivering multiple projects at once.
  • Experience with communications across functional boundaries and/or globally.
  • Experience working both independently and in a team environment.
