  • Contract, Full time

Our client is looking for Test Analyst with strong Automation experience and who has worked within the Financial Services sector.

  • Role will be engaging in an existing initiative of migrating all websites to our global web platform (primarily developed in the US)
  • There is an existing Test Engineer in the US they will be closely collaborating with
  •  Primary activities involve:
    • Manual/Automated testing of UK integration project development work
    • Enhancing/extending existing automation platform (written using Java-Maven, Selenium, Jackson, Junit, Jenkins)
    • Engaging in other distribution areas post integration, which is scheduled to complete Q1 of 2019

Side note.  While our global website is coded in Java, as you know, London heavily utilizes Microsoft based technologies.  Getting someone who is purely a “Java person” and not open to working with other technologies could be a bit challenging.

  • Solid experience in a modern SCRUM environment (T model where you specialize in testing but can help out with other things)
  • Experience with developing/utilizing automation frameworks (having architected is golden but experience utilizing custom/lightweight frameworks works too!  These people typically have some level of coding experience… anyone with SpecFlow, Cucumber, Python, Visual Studio, C#, Java would be good to have.
  • Dev Ops exposure/mindset (should have good exposure if they satisfy bullet 1... we need someone who aims at partnering with development in building automated tests attached to a build process, who builds tests while dev is coding, etc.)
