About The Role Role Location: ANZ London
Role Type: Permanent, Full time
The Trade and Supply Chain Operations team supports both Global Banking and International customers across a wide range of diverse industrial segments. The portfolio is largely investment grade and will have a focus on our London and French-speaking Multi-National Clients (“MNC”) with multiple relationship points across the ANZ network. These clients represent some of the Bank’s largest customers.
As the
Trade Finance Advisor, Trade & Supply Chain Operations Europe, you will work and collaborate with the Trade Sales / Relationship Management teams to provide client support in processing our available products and liaising with the Sales team to help recognize new opportunities to deliver long term financial returns to the wider Transaction Banking Europe team.
You will be primarily responsible for effectively managing our London/Paris client requests from initiation through to issuance across our guarantee/SBLC product suite. You will also be responsible for the resolution of any day to day queries/issues our clients have relating to our products via email, SWIFT or telephone. You will manage these processes within our Trade Policies to reduce process gaps and incidents whilst maintaining oversight of our offshored processes and SLA's. You will monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRI’s) related to the products which include, reconciliation of overdue nostro account breaks and overdue fee monitoring.
Your role will also require an ability to execute our new ways of working and improve our operational productivity via Automation, Simplification and Straight through processing. You will contribute to enhance our client experience via the customer insights and visitation SharePoint channels to produce data and reports to give value add analysis to our clients during visits or conference calls to enable further growth in the London / Paris portfolios.
About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following -
- Proven years of banking experience with strong experience in the Trade and Supply Chain segment
- Strong knowledge and exposure to products especially Guarantees/SBLC’s with a mindset and ability to balance risk and workability priorities
- Good communication skills with fluency in French Language to enable you to communicate effectively with French clients and Paris based ANZ team and with other senior stakeholders to provide a clear picture of the challenges at hand
- Proficient in computer applications such as MS Office and Trade360
- Strong collaboration, relationship, networking and team player skills
- Strong client focus and customer service skills with the capability of leading conversations with clients to resolve any challenges and advise/explain our products at customer engagements
- Team player who demonstrates our New Ways of Working and our ICARE values and behaviours
- CSDG qualified preferred but not a requirement
