Sberbank CIB UK is looking to hire two Traders (one Junior, one Senior) to Securities Trading team, with fluency in Russian. Primary background of interest: Equity trading and execution, Fixed Income execution, algorithmic securities trading and execution
The role will involve:
- Co-ordinating with sales and other traders to ensure that clients of the Company are served in the best possible way
- Trading cash equities in a variety of markets including Russian local stocks and stocks on LSE
- Fixed Income execution in variety markets, primarily EM
- Making prices and executing for wide variety of clients in single stock vanilla options and futures
- Risk managing positions and generating high quality trade ideas
- Working on projects to develop further the franchise
- Willingness to liaise with operations and IT on operational issues and improvements
- Preparing reports on business when necessary, including end of day P&L
- Development of new trading algorithms in coordination with IT with ideas generation and its implementation overview
Candidate should have:
- University degree with Economics, Business background
- Good understanding of global macro events and drivers of performance in emerging markets, especially Russia
- 2-3 years (Junior), 5-10 years (Senior) in trading, desirably in the UK
- FCA certified. Knowledge of relevant regulatory expectations and settlement processes
- Disciplined and analytical attitude
- High degree of fluency in written and spoken English and Russian
- Knowledge of Equity Derivative Pricing models
- Proficiency in Excel and Front Office systems
- Candidate should have prior knowledge in development of trading algorithms and related infrastructure on execution and market making side
- Experience in back testing and implementation of proprietary algorithmic trading strategies would be useful
