An exciting opportunity to join a growing asset manager at the crucial moment to set up and drive their marketing strategy and execution for the UK business, across both institutional and wholesale channels.

A key focus of the role is to drive revenue growth through profitable new business, servicing and defending existing clients and building awareness of the firm’s brand within core UK segments, to achieve our ambitious growth targets in the UK. 

The successful candidate will be a senior marketing professional with a considerable experience driving UK marketing strategy in investment management and be comfortable working closely with the sales teams. Having investment marketing background, strong product knowledge, knowledge of the key industry drivers, competitor landscape and regulation will be detrimental to this appointment. This is a hands-on leadership role.

Candidate requirements

  • Understanding inside out the domestic investment strategies in the UK i.e. have significant product knowledge that is UK specific. 
  • Extensive experienced working across institutional and wholesale UK channels for an investment management firm
  • Creative skillset to design campaigns
  • Must be collaborative 
  • Must be able to use data smartly and have a digital skillset – digital marketer skills
  • Be a hands-on type who is happy to get stuck in and do a lot of the grunt work
