UK Regulatory & Strategic Program Support Manager

• Deliver independent risk assessment and reports

• Provide business management with controls, tools, training, frameworks , information and insights required to perform their risk management and supervisory responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver proposals for the control, mitigation and remediation of compliance and operational risk issues arising out of the operations of the business

• Prepare concise, objective and accurate reports that provide insight into the firm’s risk profile and include interdisciplinary, holistic and systemic root cause analysis

• Perform analytical reviews and assessments of change and transformation related risks, issues and control information, proposing and coordinating quality improvement activities

• Ensure coordination and execution of Firm-wide Investment Governance processes related to Strategic Regulatory Initiatives


Your team:

You'll be working in the Corporate Center Risk Control (CCRC) , which is part of the Compliance & Operational Risk Control (C&ORC) function and provides oversight of Corporate Center and change & transformation risks across the UBS Group. Business Solutions UK ("UK ServCo") is being established in response to Recovery and Resolution Planning rules, which require the segregation of essential shared services provided to the UK operating entities into a separate entity. C&ORC's role in this program is significant both as adviser to the program on regulatory matters, and to implement the changes required within the C&ORC function. As a part of the team you will be responsible to support us in the understanding of impacts to UK based entities from the regulatory landscape, effective change management processes including reporting and providing on-going support to Operational Risk Managers.

Your experience and skills:

You have:

• A bachelor's degree

• Solid previous experience of related work in change management or comparable experience working as an advisor for a financial services company

• Understanding of UK regulatory concepts and their implementation in practice

You are:

• Knowledgeable and have a comprehensive understanding of change management, project management, regulatory implementation or legislative processes for financial institutions

• Very good communicator with ability to work in the team

• Result-oriented and assertive (you don’t shy away from challenging situations)

• Analytic with the ability to provide practical solutions for minimizing risk
