Our client, a $2 billion fund seeks a dynamic and strategic asset raiser to work with other members of the team on maintaining and growing business opportunities across distribution networks/ institutional clients/ family offices, mainly with a focus on the US market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Raising assets through converting recommended list positions and exploiting new sales opportunities for our client's funds/ white label offering whilst preserving AUM and servicing existing clients
  • Proactively building and maintaining client relationships targeting primarily financial institutions, wealth managers, advisory distributors, insurance companies, fund platforms and family offices
  • Organising intro and DD meetings, roadshows, preparing materials in advance and following up with information 
  • Acting as a ‘proxy’ for PMs when required by serving as central contact across different levels of client seniority (e.g. fund analysts, client relationship managers, CIOs)
  • Facilitating the investor dealing process (checking trades, reporting figures internally and liaising with administrators/ investors
  • Contributing to sales & marketing initiatives (e.g. clients event) and to the maintenance of sales support material (e.g. DDQs, presentations)
  • Working collaboratively within the firm through effective communication across teams/functions
  • Maintaining client activity on CRM database and within internal key client strategic plans
  • Working in tandem with other team members, sharing information/ feed-back as appropriate

 

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Solid educational background
  • At least 5 years of relevant, client-facing experience and an asset raising track record in the USA is compulsory
  • Sound knowledge of financial markets and keeping abreast of regulatory developments
  • Working knowledge of fund distribution in the US market is compulsory for this role
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, commercial acumen and ability to work under pressure
  • Numerical and excel skills
  • Familiarity with UCITS and AIFMD is preferable
  • Willingness to travel
