Job Description:
EMEA F&O Support Team Lead - CTO Market Applications Production Services (MAPS) - Leading MAPS F&O EMEA support team within global futures & options.

CTO Global Markets Application Production Services (MAPS) are responsible for provide application support for the global market technology applications. Work activities specific to Production Services roles include Problem/Incident Management, Release/Deployment, Operational Readiness, Capacity/Availability Management, Application Monitoring, Service Analytics and Reporting, Production Governance, Triage, Associate Support, Change/Configuration Management, etc.

As the EMEA regional lead of the MAPS F&O support team you will be responsible for running the day-to-day support for the EMEA region as part of the global 24x6 follow-the-sun model, acting a critical bridge between the APAC and AMRS regions and providing out-of-hours support for both, whilst ensuring stability of the local application instances.

As a VP, Application Service Delivery Professional Markets (Manager) your responsibilities will include the following:

• Provides leadership, strategic/tactical direction for support in line with the global MAPS vision and ensuring quality of service for the L1/2 support functions provided the EMEA MAPS F&O team for global F&O trading platforms.
• Serves as an escalation point between the client/business area and internal management for the resolution of moderately complex unresolved problems, complaints and service requests.
• Is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the application systems in operation, including tasks related to identifying and troubleshooting application issues and issues resolution or escalation.
• Responsibilities also include root cause analysis, management communication and client relationship management in partnership with Infrastructure Service Support team members.
• Ensures all production changes are made in accordance with life-cycle methodology and risk guidelines.
• Coaches and mentors less experienced team members and or acts as a subject matter expert and possesses in depth Functional knowledge of the application(s) supported and interdependencies.

As a VP, Application Service Delivery Professional Markets (Manager) your skills and experience must include all of the following:

• Extensive experience of providing L1/2 application support in an electronic trading environment
• Proven track record of supporting applications using FIX protocol
• Excellent working knowledge of Unix/Linux
• Strong experience with SQL and Database related technologies
• Strong background in supporting derivatives trading with particular focus on listed global futures & options
• Proven experience in supporting algorithmic trading systems
• Extensive knowledge and proven experience in supporting futures & options traders using TT platforms
• Expert knowledge of the ULLink Order Routing Platforms and API (ULBridge), Order Management System (ULOdisys) and management of static data (ULSync/ULFlow)
• Good understanding of ULLink Risk Management (ULIris) and Middle Office (ULMiddle) modules
• Experience using the ULLink administrative and monitoring platform (ULDashboard)
• Demonstrable experience of team management or supervision
