VP Surveillance Manager


You will be joining as part of the Second Line of Defence (2LoD) function, the Compliance Department which seeks to protect the Bank's licenses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing surveillance of trading activities, e-communication and information barriers to detect possible market abuse or market manipulation
  • Assisting in defining core processes, reviewing and updating policies and procedures
  • Providing clarity and transparency to the department, stakeholders and regulators
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of effective procedures and strategic solutions to adhere to one global platform, across various business lines
  • Representing Surveillance in discussions with regulators, auditors (internal and external) and other stakeholders in relation to both the run the bank and Change the Bank as appropriate
  • Continuously monitoring process stability and escalating to senior management any current or future risks
