Key responsibilities
• Originating and sourcing new real estate assets for acquisition &/or development globally with focus on Continental Europe, the UK and US markets
• Sourcing new investors
• Analysing real estate transactions across the risk spectrum including Core, Core+, Value-add and Opportunistic strategies
• Preparing Investment Documentation
• Marketing investment opportunities & closing transactions
• Collaborate with senior management to develop new concepts for real estate funds and to create all necessary documentation, processes and material for new funds
• Develop a pipeline of transactions, analysing proposals and recommending exit strategies
• Manage day to day fund management activities including acquiring and disposing properties on behalf of the funds; ensure that all fund management activities are carried out in a transparent manner
• Manage the relationships of third parties such as deal originators, valuers, property administrators, law firms etc
• Supervise valuations, investment risk analysis and financial modelling
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that suitable levels of due diligence is performed, analysis is conducted and transactions are structured in an optimal manner
• Build effective relationship with key anchor investors
• Produce quarterly commentary and reports on the performance of each funds including (NAV’s, holdings, performance etc)
Background and experience
• Bachelor degree with an emphasis in real estate, finance, business, accounting or economics from a leading University
• An MBA is also desirable but not essential
• Over 10 year’s relevant real estate investment experience in direct real estate from within a real estate investment manager, real estate asset manager, real estate private equity or real estate principal investor
• Proven track record of souring and executing real estate investments globally with focus on Continental Europe, the UK and US
• Experience across a broad range of real estate asset classes including multi-family, logistics, data centres and commercial sectors
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Strong skills in Ms Word & PowerPoint
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills excellent written and oral communication skills
• Fluent English with an additional European Language - French, German is an advantage
