MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE 

 

Responsible for eFX Spot, Forward and NDF book running during London hours, monitoring and analysing client trading behaviour, eFX pricing and hedging strategy performance and facilitate client support in order to support the eFX business reaching its revenue and customer service targets.

Contribute ideas for enhancement of the E-Trading platform to further business growth

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take the responsibility of eFX book running during London trading hours for Spot, Forwards and eNDF products
  • Analyse the performance of existing pricing and hedging models to identify areas of improvement, and implement the improvements.
  • Analyse the performance of clients to optimize the pricing and risk management strategies accordingly
  • Work closely with the voice trading desk to optimise pricing for each type of client  
  • Work closely with eFX sales team to support client requirements
  • Work closely with eFX quants to improve pricing and hedging models

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • At least 2 years book running or voice trading experience in top tier banks
  • Experience of trading both spot and forward products
  • At least 2 years client analysis experience
  • At least 2 years Financial data analysis experience


Functional / Technical Competencies:

  • Ability to concentrate and perform in fast paced trading environment
  • Ability to follow the guidance to avoid operation errors
  • Coding skills in any modern language (e.g. Python, Kdb)
  • Ability to use software prototyping and developing client analysis tool sets
  • Ability to communicate efficiently with colleagues and clients

 

EDUCATION

  • Advanced degree in quantitative areas from Top universities
