Use your knowledge, experience and networks to help create and support a sophisticated Private Banking service that caters to the unique needs of High Net Worth (HNW) Clients Develop and enhance relationships with a cross-section of HNW Clients to create strategic partnerships founded on a comprehensive, knowledgeable and collaborative partnership Successfully represent the Bank externally and internally

Key responsibilities

Client Management

•      Managing performance of yourself to exceed demanding business targets and ensure unwavering commitment to service excellence

•      Developing a relationship as your Clients strategic partner in the bank and acting as a gateway to our other products and services

•      Managing a high value assets and liabilities portfolio (including the management of a loan book) with particular focus on its impact on the P&L and the Balance Sheet

•      Develop and present business cases that match complicated financial products to our Client’s needs

•      Take sole responsibility for key Clients and important transactions

•      Take overall responsibility for your risk and regulatory performance

Client Acquisition

•      Managing your extensive network of personal and business relationships to acquire, develop and service Clients

Key Interfaces

  • Clients (& Client representatives)
  • Private Banking team (typically made up of one/ three private bankers/ senior private bankers and a Private Banking Assistant)
  • Director Private Banking
  • Back office departments (including working closely with Credit, Compliance and the Operations departments)

Knowledge/Experience

  • You will have a successful background in Wealth Management with broad experience across the financial services industry and detailed knowledge of Private Banking Market
  • Significant Private Banking experience (dealing with HNW individuals)

Qualifications

  • Relevant Banking, Financial Planning and/ or Investment Management Qualifications (or equivalent)
  • CeMAP qualified  (or equivalent)
