My client a Tier-1 Financial services client with Global operations is currently recruiting for a Workday Workstream lead to join them on a contract basis in London. You’ll be joining a global programme as part of their HR Digital transformation team which is a fundamental building block in HR’s contribution to the Bank’s digitalization strategy.

My client a Tier-1 Financial services client with Global operations is currently recruiting for a Workday Workstream lead to join them on a contract basis in London. You’ll be joining a global programme as part of their HR Digital transformation team which is a fundamental building block in HR’s contribution to the Bank’s digitalization strategy.

Skills

  • Significant experience delivering Workday HCM Core from kick off through to post go live support in a global regulated environment, ideally in Financial Services
  • Experience in managing a multi-disciplinary, geographically  diverse project team
  • Significant experience in stakeholder management at all levels in the organisation
  • A comprehensive understanding of the data and reporting needs of a regulated financial services organisation would be beneficial
  • Ability to understand HR IT concepts and interpret for non IT professionals so that they understand what is required and why.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail
  • Proven ability to think strategically and work collaboratively

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and project manage the design, build and implementation of the HCM Core workstream
  • Manage all workstream stakeholder groups to fully define and agree all business requirements.
  • Act as a Workday independent advisor across all facets of the Programme, in and outside the Workstream
  • In conjunction with the Implementation Partner, plan and run design and configuration workshops involving the workstream project team and other key stakeholders.
  • Co-ordinate and run regular workstream project team meetings to review progress, agree issues requiring escalation, and share progress
  • In conjunction with the PMO, produce all required project status reports, risks and issue logs and project plans for the workstream
  • Working in collaboration with HR IT, plan and manage all required system testing to ensure the solution works according to the agreed design.
  • Manage all change requests during the implementation life cycle.
  • Partner with the Digital Transformation Readiness team to ensure end users are supported in the introduction of the new solution and processes
  • Ensure the workstream is appropriately resourced
  • Champion Workday and new ways of working with the wider HR and Business community
  • Partner with Implementation Consultants and DB colleagues to research 'special topics;' provide recommendations to resolve or mitigate potential issues and document
  • Act as a project expert during deployment of the programme, supporting colleagues across the business and HR in the transition to digitalization
  • Advise Works Council Lead/Team on critical programme items that will need further discussion/agreement
