Investor Relations Professional (to VP level), Private Equity Fund

A leading private equity firm is seeking to expand its investor relations team with the addition of a strong investor relations professional.

There is some flexibility around title depending on the successful candidate but we are interested in seeing people who will up to the VP level. 

The Investor Relations professional will be part of the team responsible for global fundraising and managing limited partner relationships.

This person will also work closely with the investment groups in New York and London, as well as compliance, legal and accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Investor Reporting and client queries:

Manage production and processes to furnish the quarterly investor reporting package to investors

Assist with drafting, review and compilation of portfolio company updates

Prepare responses for bespoke data requests for investors as needed ad hoc

Marketing Documentation and Materials

Assist and co-ordinate and the preparation and approval of all firm and fund related marketing documentation

Maintain records and tracking of all deliverables provided to investors

Maintain tracking and log of investor meetings held globally

Maintain Firm level statistics and analysis for tracking / RFPs

Marketing and Public Relations

Maintain and assist with ongoing development of the company website; updating, overall improvement, additional content idea generation in conjunction with the firm’s partner group

Draft submissions to industry surveys and awards submissions

Assist with drafting of press releases and general client communications (email updates, announcements, etc.)

Annual Investor Meeting and Client Events

Assist with the preparation and delivery of the annual investor meeting and related materials: working in conjunction with the investor relations and investment team to develop messaging and presentation materials

Time critical management of internal and external resources to ensure presentation and event delivery works smoothly

Working with the executive assistants in London and New York assist with the delivery and execution of the invitation process and logistics related to client and AGM events


o Assist the CCO with ensuring that marketing materials and events are compliant with applicable laws and procedures (including jurisdictional offering matters)

o Co-ordinate and support the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) with any anti-money laundering review and ongoing assessments required across the firm

• Investor and Prospect Information Management

o Manage CRM system data processing and review for investors globally

o Maintain investor stats log

o Work with investor relations team to harness CRM for core marketing efforts

Responsibility for management and updating of fundraising virtual dataroom

o Research and generate ad-hoc analysis to support fundraising messages

o Manage overall process for information requests (RFIs)- including drafting responses and working with elements of the firm to complete holistically – this person will take ownership and drive these requests under critical deadlines

o Track all RFI processes and report to partnership on status and critical milestones to deliver work product on time to investors

o Creating and developing pitchbook content for investor meetings and one on one meetings when needed, including managing related compliance and legal review

o Assist with tracking investor interest and “order book”, including open items and remaining deliverables required on an investor by investor basis

Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience in investor relations or fundraising with another private equity group, fund or institution. The role could be suitable for someone with significant invetsor relations experience. 

• Fluent in English – additional language skills helpful

• Strong analytical skills, plus excellent verbal and written communication skills •
