Business Development and Relationship Manager – Sales, OTC Derivatives, Clearing, Dutch, German, Client Relationship Management, Financial Services

My client, a global Financial Markets institution based in the City is looking to hire a Sales and Relationship Manager in a permanent position in their expanding Sales team. 

You will be onboarding new members as well as growing existing client accounts in order to maintain key client relationships. You will play a major role in generating new business across EMEA, thus duties will include both client management and coordinating sales strategy for your regions. 

Strong communications skills, including the ability to speak either German or Dutch, and a highly motivated attitude will be required to push the organisation to its limits. Strong knowledge in Clearing and OTC Derivatives would be highly beneficial due to the markets you will be operating in. The ideal candidate would have:

  • Business level German/Dutch language speaking skills
  • Extensive experience working in a Business Development / Relationship Manager capacity within the Financial Services is a must
  • Experience of working within the Financial Services Industry
  • A strong understanding / experience of Clearing, OTC Derivatives and CDS would be highly beneficial
  • Experience producing clear and compelling presentations or material for publication
  • Self-Starter – able to work in a fast paced, teamwork environment with a highly motivated attitude
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
