We are looking for a talented an Associate Infrastructure Operations Engineer to work with us on customer-centric infrastructure operations, maintaining and supporting technical platforms that are essential to business critical data & analytics services.

As an Associate Infrastructure Operations Engineer you'll be maintaining technical platforms that are essential to DWP services, working within a team of service managers, infrastructure specialists and engineers, directly handling customer requests for access to data, so customer service skills are essential to success in this role.

Requests are supported by UNIX based platforms, so experience with similar platforms and UNIX based technology is highly desirable for this role. You'll also be collaborating closely with the project team to develop new data access control solutions, defining requirements that will steer the project.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?

  • Some systems administrator experience, preferably Unix.
  • ITIL Service Management Foundation Qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service management skills.
