As a Change Manager your job will be to manage the successful and safe introduction of new services and products with minimal disruption.

You'll be working on our Child Maintenance team, responsible for ensuring that children across the UK are financially supported.

You'll have a critical role helping us modernise and innovate on Child Maintenance, so our services work better for everyone, while ensuring we can keep delivering for our users throughout.

You will lead on all planning and resource coordination for Change events for our big CMS2012 systems and all online services. In addition, you will manage all CMS 2012 certificates, working with numerous stakeholders to ensure timely renewal.

  • Perform agreed line management activities for a small team of change analysists, and that team working is at the heart of any activity being performed.
  • Responsible for Change scheduling, planning, prioritisation, risk management and dependencies to ensure effective Change Management across multiple projects and divisions in particular CMG Transformation.
  • Work with Service Transition to ensure all functions are sufficiently engaged to ensure successful transition of services into the run environment.
  • Ensures effective Change Management in decommissioning of services that are deemed "end of life" - to confirm the removal of all operational facilities and redundant equipment, ensuring any operational dependencies are effectively managed.
  • Continuous Service Improvements in management of Changes to CMS 2012 and all online services and products driving new processes by finding smarter ways of working.
  • Deliver a first class service by managing and defining Change acceptance criteria with stakeholders including CMG operational colleagues.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?

  • Experience of independently supporting and maintaining products and agile delivery
  • Good understanding of change management processes and managing changes in a multi system environment.
  • You can plan and organise change involving all relevant stakeholders working closely with multiple programmes.You can analyse and assess impact, and develop and document change requests. You can implement changes based on requests for change and have experience of developing bespoke products to meet customer needs.
  • You can ensure colleagues and stakeholders have a clear understanding of objectives, activities and time-frames. You effectively manage conflict, misconduct and non-inclusive behaviour.
  • You know how to establish professional collaborative relationships with a range of stakeholders, and build great team spirit.
  • Experience of developing, implementing, maintaining and reviewing systems and services to ensure delivery of professional excellence, high quality outcomes and value for money.
  • You should be able to provide evidence of working with large transformation projects where change is an integral part of the programme.
