Innovative and exciting energy business is now seeking an experienced Quantitative Analyst to join their Commercial team. This will suit a self starter with strong programming and modelling skills. Whilst energy markets knowledge would be an advantage, candidates with strong programming skills looking to move into the energy market will also be considered.

This role will suit a Quantitative Analyst looking to join an innovative and growing energy business. You should ideally have some experience in the UK energy market covering either power or gas, however candidates with strong programming skills who are interested in the energy markets will also be considered. You should be a self starter who can work automously on analytics and validation projects.

In addition you should have a good commercial understanding and have the right personality to work closely with Traders. This will include providing detailed market anlaysis and developing trading strategy. In addition you should have the ability to help the business development team value new contracts.
