My Client, a leading a leading global payments and technology company based in Peterborough is looking for a Senior Engineer/Application Support Analyst to provide 2nd and 3rd line support for mission critical business applications.

My Client, a leading a leading global payments and technology Company based in Peterborough is looking for a Senior Engineer/Application Support Analyst to provide 2nd and 3rd line support for mission critical business applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line support
  • Ensuring availability of critical business applications and database infrastructure
  • Resolve incidents and service requests promptly and accurately
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis of major faults, documenting activities and any recommendations


Key Skills:

  • SQL server and Oracle SQL
  • Web Logic/Apache
  • Java
  • Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services in a financial organisation would be good
  • Worked in an application support role
  • Experience investigating and troubleshooting

Nice to have:

  • J-Boss
  • ITIL experience
