What we’re building 

We now need a Sales Operations MI Analyst to support the transformation and the future growth of the business within the Wealth Management function, so it can be a market-leading, retirement-led platform provider offering a holistic approach to Retirement Income, Tax and Estate Planning to the UK Wealth Advisory market.

Job summary

The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining a robust platform of MI reporting across all levels of the distribution team. The role works closely with Sales Leadership utilising MI to assist in planning, forecasting and targeting cycles. The role further supports the business by providing analysis and insight into the drivers of Sales Performance to support sales strategy and improvement programmes.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and maintain data reporting for all sales processes ensuring consistent recording of achievement against Key Performance Indicators across all levels of the team on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Provide key input and support all aspects of sales planning including panel and targeting processes.
  • Provide insight into sales performance highlighting patterns/trends at all levels of the business to maximise future sales opportunities. Maintain ongoing forecasting of sales reporting on actual versus expected performance
  • Informing the right business decisions through the delivery of analysis and insight on market/adviser behaviour.
  • Prepare reports for internal and external audiences relating to the adviser market and sales performance using data analysis skills and providing appropriate insight
  • Work closely with sales effectiveness manager to identify data driven improvement opportunities.
  • Support ad hoc Distribution projects/improvement initiatives working both internally and externally to provide key sales operational support.

Who you are

  • Proven experience in a MI role.
  • Proven experience of data manipulation and analysis with the ability to process data from multiple sources.
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to develop robust, functional reporting suites.
  • Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills with the ability to communicate effectively to non-technical people.
  • Ability to manage expectations with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good analytical and proactive skills, working logically and systematically.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and remain effective and accurate.


  • Graduate – desired
  • Qualifications related to marketing (CIM), Finance (CIMA etc) or Statistics (A-Level, Degree, MA, etc)
