Provide expertise in test planning, design and execution in order to complete the testing deliverables required of the International Product team.

About the Role

  • Review and analysis of requirements; engaging with subject matter experts and business analysts for resolution of clarifications.
  • Responsible for planning, monitoring and control of the testing activities and tasks for the Fees & Charges workstream within the agreed timelines, including the production of test approach and test completion documents.
  • Creation and maintenance of test packs (including regression) and obtain the required sign offs for these.
  • Execution of the test cases, recording observations and results. Maintenance and retention results and test execution logs.
  • Identify issues, log defects and retest when fixes are delivered.
  • Monitor, measure, control and report on the test progress, the product quality status and the test results. Participate in test closure activities.
  • Identification of process improvements to enhance the quality and reduce the time taken to execute tests, including automation approaches.
  • Liaise with the testers for other business areas to ensure no gaps in testing, no duplication and a common understanding.
  • Co-ordinate with test analysts within the team and SME leads with regard to priorities, work allocation, progress monitoring and timelines.
  • Escalate items that may cause an impact on timelines and risk and look at mitigants. Represent the Pricing team on the escalation of issues.
  • Responsible for ensuring testing is completed within the agreed timelines and owning the resolution of issues preventing this are appropriately escalated and picked up.
  • Knowledge transfer to new test analysts.
  • Ensure understanding of the business requirements for the system and be able to identify defects that are not specific to the test being carried out where applicable.

Qualifications required:

  • Preferably educated to degree level
  • Relevant A levels passes, with GSCE Maths and English at grade C or above ISTQB – Foundation Level Certified Tester (desirable)
