About The Role:
The candidate is expected to operate under general supervision as part of the Client Due Diligence “CDD” team.
The role is specifically to work on a CDD project to undertake a review on all investors on our existing Private Equity and Traditional books of business to ensure they meet the current regulatory standards following an update to the Guernsey regulator’s Handbook in 2019.
An in-depth knowledge of CDD and Guernsey regulatory requirements would be beneficial.
The candidate will be responsible for the review and oversight of work completed for the project in an outsourced location. They will be required to assist in the management of the project and to provide leadership and guidance to the partners in the outsourced team.
Demonstrates excellent analytical, consultative, communication and judgment skills.
Review stage of the investor reviews being undertaken by the processing team.
Following all checklists accurately, ensuring the identification and verification of all investors in accordance with Guernsey regulations
Sharing knowledge and expertise, efficiently and professionally
Ensuring that all investor correspondence is accurate, reviewed then sent out in timely and professional manner
Accurate with attention to detail
Excellent Communication skill both written and verbal – essential for client servicing
Adherence to standards and procedures
Compliance / Regulatory monitoring / CDD / AML knowledge
Promotion of best practices
Able to work on own initiative
ICA Cert./Dip. in Compliance / AML desirable
