The main purpose of this role is to assist the Head of Operations Governance Manager with the management of risk and governance across the Quilter Financial Planning Operations Function.

About the role

In this role the key responsibilities are:

  • To increase the bandwidth and velocity of the Operations Leadership Team to enable them to concentrate their time, effect and focus on the Change programme, whilst still ensuring the Operations is complying with all risk, regulatory and governance requirements
  • Develop, manage and monitor the Conduct Risk Dashboard, identifying trends, areas for improvement and driving a focus on Operational and Conduct risk in Operations ensuring we are delivering good customer outcomes for all our customers
  • Support Operational Teams monitoring and building on our existing customer and adviser engagement to ensure ongoing alignment of organisational activity with the Operations strategic agenda.
  • Lead the management of Control Environment Operating process (CEOM)
  • Ensure that the customer is a primary focus throughout Operations
  • To take responsibility for overseeing the end to end Adviser and Customer journey supporting Operational Teams with key initiatives
  • Work with Operational Teams to develop on existing means of measuring and demonstrating success of service (including developing NPS or similar activities to gain insights)

About you

We are looking for an individual with the following knowledge, skills and experiences:

  • Experience of working in a Governance or Risk role
  • Experience of building and managing good working relationships
  • Experience of presenting to senior management and executive level committees
  • Experience in a regulated firm desirable
  • Risk and Governance qualifications is also desirable
