As implementation lead, the ideal candidate will possess a deep sense of curiosity and a passion for building smarter digital analytics solutions to drive data-based decisions throughout Fidelity International across the globe

Purpose of your role

  • To use their strong technical background, excellent communication skills, to easily translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • To own and shape the digital measurement platform implementation across global Fidelity sites and be central point of contact for the rest of the business
  • Be a recognized subject matter expert on all things Ensighten and Adobe Analytics including advanced implementations using data layer approach
  • Able to work with stakeholders and analytics team to gather measurement requirements and translate these into a documented technical implementation guide
  • Closely collaborate with development, IT and support teams to install, configure tags, deploy and maintain data layer and ongoing analytics platform optimization, including data integrations with 3rd party tools and platforms
  • To turn business questions from stakeholders into detailed tracking specifications across all platforms, including web, mobile apps and emerging platforms such as voice devices
  • Support developers and third parties throughout the implementation process - Perform QA, troubleshooting and tracking validation
  • Work with 3rd party consultants and own the ongoing relationship with them to deliver additional tracking functionality & deployment of new capability
  • Own, manage and deliver all documentation and training guides

Key Responsibilities

  • The ideal candidate will be able to operate in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for driving multiple analytics solution design projects in parallel.
  • They will be expert problem solvers- coming up with novel solutions, architectures, and use cases to help stakeholders meet their business objectives.
  • To assist end users of data with data validation questions and troubleshoot as needed.
  • Partner with multiple stakeholders to develop and execute appropriate measurement plan and tagging strategy for Adobe Analytics to satisfy analytics use cases.
  • Create and execute new measurement implementations and/or maintain existing tracking specification documents for website redesigns, new deployments, including mobile apps and/or campaign launches with Adobe Analytics.
  • Perform data quality audits, QA tags, identify data collection issues, suggest improvements and work to implement fixes.
  • Develop documentation of use cases, tracking specs and QA results.
  • Provide thought leadership for data collection and ways to standardize across a global environment.
  • Assist in establishing governance, best practice operational and ad-hoc processes for data capture changes.
  • Act as a liaison between business owners and application development teams.
  • Provide regular reporting on this to the channel and digital management groups against a set of key performance metrics. Ensure this is comprehensive and includes strategy, channel, regulatory, audit, servicing and other digital requirements.
  • Act as a contact point to resolve specific product issues which are raised as a result of service issues and incidents. Understand issues to sufficiently support the business channel as appropriate
  • Support digital transformation plans, helping to meet Fidelity's aim to provide the best digital experience in financial services

Experience and Qualifications Required

  • Possesses excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, and able to translating business requirements into technical specs for developers.
  • Experience in developing measurement plans and tagging strategies, as well as the ability to QA analytics implementations.
  • Knowledge of how analytics data is extracted and used within reporting tools.
  • Proven experience in Analytics/Measurement Operations/Tracking field or consulting roles with focus on digital analytics implementations.
  • Evidence of successful delivery in leading cross functional delivery teams
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing and analytics tools:
  • Ideally Ensighten expert - or has significant exposure to similar tag management solutions (GTM, Tealium etc.),
  • Adobe Analytics expert (Include Admin/Processing Rules/Report suite configuration/classification)
  • Comfortable operating in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders; able to drive impact through influence as much as control.
  • Functional knowledge of client-side development in JavaScript and front-end debugging (JQuery and JSON skills)
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, DOM (Experience capturing data from webpages, scraping data, data manipulation)
  • Experience working with Single Page Applications

  • Nice to have:
  • Exposure to Adobe Target / Adobe Marketing Cloud
  • Customer session tools (Decibel Insight or similar)
  • API knowledge (help integrating with other tools)
  • Agile experience and familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
