Looking for a qualified accountant, the role is based in Hersham in Surrey and offers hybrid working. As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for managing the accounting function, tax and corporate reporting across several legal entities.
Your responsibilities as a Senior Accountant:
- Manage a small team of Accountants
- Perform annual performance reviews and monitor during the year.
- Manage the General Ledger for 7 brands, ensuring all monthly postings are completed
- Review and analyse monthly all balance sheet accounts
- Support Financial controllers with ad hoc queries
- Manage the Statutory Accounts process
- Manage the external annual
- Intercompany ensure all Intercompany invoices, recharges and payments are raised monthly, calculate BPC recharges and reconcile accounts monthly
Required skills and experience as a Senior Accountant:
The ideal candidate should be ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 5 years' experience within finance. Candidates qualified by experience will be considered. Experience with SAP and Excel are a must. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential alongside experience in writing internal procedures and documentation. You must have the ability to demonstrate a professional and objective perspective at all times, a 'can-do' attitude and resilient character with the ability to manage expectations.
