The Product Manager, Society Solutions, is responsible for developing and executing a market informed product strategy for our digital education and virtual meeting products. As a key member of the product team, the product manager will work collaboratively to develop a deep understanding of our customers and markets, articulate a product strategy that is aligned with sales goals, and establish a product roadmap that aligns with this strategy.
Working with key internal and external stakeholders, this individual is responsible for developing and implementing a product strategy that aligns with revenue goals
Establish and drive product line strategies for achieving 3-year revenue targets; conduct research to define and establish meaningful points of competitive differentiation; conceptualize and grow new business opportunities using lean startup methodology
Continuously improve product quality - monitor product performance, engagement and satisfaction KPIs; Conduct A/B tests; Iterate new features through Build/Measure/Improve approach;
Work with UX designer to create wireframes/prototypes; Provider user stories and product requirements to product owner
Work with internal stakeholders to develop a prioritized product roadmap that aligns with sales goals; work with product owner to right size scope and define release schedules.
Support Sales and Business development efforts through product demonstrations, presentations of platform and service capabilities, and contributions to RFPs
Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends through frequent interactions with customers and partners and primary and secondary research
Bachelor’s Degree required
7-10 years of experience in managing digital products preferably in publishing, medical society or information services industry preferred
Experience with Agile methodologies or equivalent
Strong verbal and written communication skills; good persuasive abilities
Good presentation skills, ability to interact with colleagues at all levels and customers/clients
Understanding of professional healthcare or education markets a plus
Travel requirements: Primarily domestic with some international travel possible
