Manager II Program Cost Schedule & Control

Opportunity to join the Advanced Mission Systems (AMS) LT. AMS is an emerging technology Product Line within the Advanced Concepts and Technology Mission Area. This position is a finance leadership position reporting to the Advanced Concepts and Technology Finance Director and will be responsible for organizational leadership, partnering in a COO capacity with the Product Line Director, Program Managers and functional leadership team.

Responsibilities included:

  • Effectively manage all financials for AMS (AOP, 5Yr, SRO, Monthly reporting)
  • Partner/influence AMS Product line LT to drive initiatives and commitments
  • Interpret and ensure implementation of Raytheon Financial Policies and Procedures to program personnel
  • Provide analyses to build sound and executable program plans
  • Provide financial briefings and communications to all customers (AMS LT, PL Functions, PM's, MA VP/CFO)
  • Manage business processes, including EAC, Earned Value, Baseline Change implementation, Financial Forecasting, AOP, 5 Year Plan
  • Partner with AMS leadership team to strategize for new business initiatives
  • Manage and develop the AMS finance team. Provide strong leadership, performance expectations and reward/recognition for the team.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in Accounting, Finance Management, Business Management or Related Field
  • Broad knowledge of business disciplines: accounting, rates and budgets, government compliance, policies and procedures, revenue and business processes/program execution tenants (e.g. EAC, EVMS, IPDS. etc.)
  • Experience operating in cross functional environment (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, etc) in proposal development and program execution
  • Advanced desktop computer skills, particularly in MS Office (Excel, Project, Word and PowerPoint), and MPM
  • Advanced knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) with external EVMS reporting
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize program management systems and tools; and independently create and accurately analyze cost data
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) to support the preparation and presentation of written briefs and summaries for internal/external dissemination
  • Possess Leadership skills to interface effectively at all levels and of the Product Line organization
  • Strong communicator up and down the organization, credible and confident, effective in resolving conflict.
  • Ability to quickly analyze and synthesize data into actionable information to assist in prudent business decision making
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related discipline
Preferred Education:
Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related discipline
