FPA’s Client Service department provides support to prospects and clients, portfolio managers, sales staff and relationship managers by performing operational and administrative functions for our strategies, funds, and/or managed accounts. The type of support generally includes sourcing, creating, and delivering data and marketing materials, supporting the launch of new products and coordinating the onboarding of new clients, managing the operational diligence process for prospects and clients, supporting the CRM system and public website, and supporting the internal coordination and completion of ad hoc/day-to-day projects and requests.

Based in West Los Angeles, the primary responsibilities of the Client Service Associate are to assist with overall marketing and prospect and client communications efforts, including: 

  • Production of Marketing Materials, specifically:
    • Mutual Fund/ Strategy fact sheets
    • Mutual Fund, SMA and Private Fund presentations
    • Quarterly Investor Letters / Commentaries
    • Quarterly Webcasts
    • Ad hoc presentations for events and speaking engagements
  • Website Management:
    • Updating the public website with performance, announcements, marketing materials and ad hoc requests
    • Performing regular website maintenance to ensure optimal functionality and user experience
    • Coordinate updates of the Content Management System, Sitefinity, often times liaising with third party vendor
  • Assist with Satuit (CRM system) database maintenance and system governance, data entry, and report generation
  • Help establish firm branding guidelines for materials to create consistency and structure
  • Continue to improve quality control process for data and materials production
  • Lead and/or support internal projects

  • Self-starter who takes initiative and manages work proactively, in addition to self-initiating other value-added tasks.

  • Excellent oral communication skills, planning, and organizational skills with ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout a project lifecycle

Requirements:

  • 3-6 plus years work-related experience preferred, financial services experiences a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
  • Creative experience with a background in graphic design or animation a plus
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Vizio and other graphic software a plus
  • Experience with maintaining a CRM system (Satuit or similar) a plus
  • Experience with project management and/or process redesign a plus
  • Experience with maintaining and designing websites a plus
